This week the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) announced that it will embark on a core systems uplift of its finance and events management systems in the first quarter of this year. The change will be made to embrace the digital age, enhance customer and visitor experiences and improve employee satisfaction.

On the announcement, director of information technology Celeste Johnston said: “Following a review of our core systems, MCEC has committed to embarking on a tender process to acquire ‘best of breed’ technical solutions.

“It’s an exciting time and everyone is looking forward to building and embracing our digital future.”
