INDONESIA – Australian hotel brand Mantra Group has launched its first Asian resort in Nusa Dua, Bali, with 172 rooms, extensive conference spaces and F&B outlets.

Mantra Nusa Dua Bali has a ballroom catering for up to 400 delegates, and eight meeting rooms and boardrooms with a dedicated business centre.

F&B offerings include Rasa, an all-day dining outlet serving traditional Indonesian cuisine; the Orchid Lounge for casual dining; and Splash poolside dining and bar. Other amenities include an exclusive on-site Chakra Spa & Wellness facility, fitness club, an indoor/outdoor pool with a pool bar and lounge, and a children’s pool.

The group has partnered with MJB Hoteliers on the Mantra Nusa Dua project to continue to secure further development and acquisition opportunities in Bali across all three brands – Peppers, Mantra and BreakFree – over the next 12 months.

With intentions to expand its network in Indonesia, negotiations are under way on a further six hotels, two with the Mantra name, the first BreakFree property, and three under the luxury Peppers brand.

“We see Indonesia as a very attractive growth destination – it is short-haul with consistent and inexpensive air access, has an attractive exchange rate and is popular with Australian and New Zealand leisure visitors,” said Mantra Group CEO, Bob East.
