Last Year’s Highlight
In April and May of 2012, the resort hosted Phuket’s largest extended corporate gathering – an Amway China leadership seminar involving 15,000 delegates in a month-long rolling programme of activities.
During the month there were 21 grand “China Nights” dinners each catering for around 750 delegates in a purpose-built marquee at a central venue, overlooking a tropical lagoon, where entertainment was staged on a floating platform.
Latitude, a 1,000 sq.m marquee-style fully air-conditioned stand-alone structure capable of accommodating up to 1,000 guests theatre style, 800 for cocktails, and 600 for a banquet, was used for a multi-media exhibition.
Latest Record-Breaking Success
April 2013 saw more record-breaking MICE success for Laguna Phuket as a chosen venue for Nu Skin Greater China’s annual incentive programme, staged over six days on the island for 4,000 delegates and staff of the anti-aging products company.
More than 85 percent of the complete delegation stayed at Laguna Phuket hotels, and the resort’s Xana Beach Club at Angsana Laguna Phuket was the venue of a grand Welcome Theme Party on the beach.
