A mixed bag of new and redeveloped market offerings was on display at MEETINGS NZ last month as a number of local tourism businesses made their debut at this years’ event.

Four Queenstown-based companies were on show for the first time, including Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters, which flies visitors around the iconic landscapes in and around Queenstown; Pacific Jemm, the only luxury boat available for lake charter in the area; Art Adventures, a new tourism business taking guests into the landscapes of Central Otago to sketch and paint; and Skippers Canyon Jet, a unique lodge with spectacular views over historic Skippers Canyon and the picturesque Shotover River.

Dunedin’s The Edgar Centre was another first-time exhibitor, showcasing the multi-functional facility, which is regularly used for sporting events, trade shows, exhibitions, and gala dinners.

Other newcomers included KiwiRail Scenic Journeys and Hamilton Gardens, which featured the lakeside venue and function centre, as well as Auckland’s Alexandra Park Function Centre, a multi-purpose venue with eight function rooms that is also home to the Auckland Trotting Club.
