She’s been a bright star at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) for almost a decade and now Steph Martin has been named as part of the Future Shapers program of the Association of International Convention Centres (AIPC).
AIPC Future Shapers is a 12-month program featuring monthly lectures, inspirational speakers, one-on-one mentoring, an international community of peers and a global platform from which to pitch projects that have the possibility of shaping the industry’s future.
MCEC shared the news that Senior Sales Manager Martin would take part in the global initiative which is designed to develop leaders and to help mitigate the talent drain from global venues affected by the pandemic.
Martin has an outstanding reputation within the business events industry and has played a key role with peak bodies such as the Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia (EEAA) and Meetings and Events Australia (MEA).
“I am so thrilled to have this opportunity to meet and learn with other likeminded peers and address some of the significant challenges faced by our industry today,” says Martin.
“I feel very privileged to learn from some of the best in the business and explore how our industry and its people can not only survive but thrive.”
