The new Gyeongju Convention Center is currently being built with efficient and energy-saving facilities.

The construction began in 2010 and is expected to be completed in early 2014.

The total area will be 43,364 square metres with a gross floor area of 30,100 square metres, meeting rooms of 6300 square metres (three large, 20 medium rooms), an exhibition hall of 2500 square metres, and a concert hall of 14,000 square metres.

Once completed, Korea will have a total of 10 convention centres throughout Korea.
