An incentive to Adelaide and South Australia will have your delegates striving for even greater heights. The following is a sample of a three-day program that makes the most of the destination.
Day 1
After touching down at Adelaide International Airport, guests are greeted by a fleet of classic Ford Mustang cars, their transport for the day. The first stop is the seaside resort of Glenelg (just 15 minutes from Adelaide CBD) to enjoy a private breakfast on the sand overlooking the stunning ocean. On board the Mustangs guests then take a scenic journey along the foreshore before heading to Australia’s most famous wine region – the Barossa.
The first stop is Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre where participants are provided with a DSLR camera, memory card and a crash course in professional photography by Georgia Felt from Zoom Photography. After a tour of the picturesque Jacob’s Creek vineyard, guests enjoyed a delicious Asian-style lunch made completely from local South Australian ingredients.
Next stop is one of the most historic wineries in Australia, Seppeltsfield, renowned for its fortified wines. Guests are provided with the exclusive opportunity to taste some fortified wine from the year of their birth – a truly unique experience.
Late afternoon, the cars whisk the guests back to Adelaide. Upon arrival at their hotel guests are surprised by their next mode of transport – two Overland Whippet vintage cars (famous for being driven across China from Beijing to Shanghai in three days!) The cars take the guests to House of Chow restaurant for a sumptuous seafood banquet.
Day 2
A beautiful sunrise greets the group for their short flight to Kangaroo Island.
Tour guide Tim from Exceptional Kangaroo Island greets guests at the airport before transferring to Emu Bay for the first activity of the day. After boarding the eco-friendly boat from Kangaroo Island Marine Adventures, skipper Andrew takes guests for a short journey along the magnificent coastal cliffs of Kangaroo Island where they spot a wide variety of birdlife, and a local sea lion playing amongst the rocks. Soon guests spot a pod of almost 50 dolphins, which provided a magnificent display swimming around the boat.
Next it is off to Vivonne Bay with Kangaroo Island Outdoor Action, where guests enjoy an exciting quad biking experience.
Lunch is among the beautiful island bush and consists of a gourmet seafood barbecue cooked right in front of the guests and served with an assortment of Kangaroo Island wine and South Australian beer.
With full bellies, it is then off to the airport for the next surprise – four private helicopters for the journey back to Adelaide! The view from the helicopters is priceless, with sunny skies providing a clear view of beaches and crystal blue water.
Dinner that evening is a very special occasion. As a special surprise to begin with, Peter Gago, chief winemaker at Penfolds and custodian of the world famous “Grange”, offers guests a structured wine tasting. Rigoni’s Bistro provides a delicious three course meal with wines provided by Longview, a picturesque winery based in the Adelaide Hills.
Day 3
After breakfast at leisure and some early morning shopping, guests join Tom Trewartha from Traction Teambuilding for a variety of engaging and fun team-building exercises.
The group is then whisked away to Grand Mercure Mount Lofty House for a degustation lunch with matching wines, overlooking the majestic Adelaide Hills. The final stop on this South Australian journey is Jurlique, renowned for its organic beauty products. At Jurlique guests are taken on a tour around the farm, learning about the native plant life and the process which goes into creating such wonderful natural health care products. m
