Venues operators in New South Wales (NSW) are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel following the NSW government announcement lifting capacity restrictions from today. And there’ll be dancing back on the dancefloors too.
CEO of Doltone House, Anna Cesarano, welcomed the news. The company led a coalition of venues campaigning on behalf of the venues sector impacted so much by the Covid restrictions.
Anna Cesarano told micenet: “The recent announcement from the NSW Government is instrumental to the road of recovery for the events industry – one of the most significantly impacted during this pandemic.
“We are grateful to finally have the clarity we need for an industry that relies on forward planning especially for the larger events.”
Anna said the whole supply had been impacted and there were tears of joy when the news came through of the new guidelines. She thanked Premier Gladys Berejiklian for her strong leadership.
