The redeveloped Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) is partnering with nine Bangkok hotels within a 5km radius to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction and assist international organisers and participants attending events at QSNCC, which is set to reopen in September.
Partnership benefits include complimentary transportation services between QSNCC and participating hotels, complimentary public transport passes, special rates for rooms, transportation to or from the airport, a hotel check-in service at QSNCC, hotel loyalty awards and early check-in and late check-out privileges.
Partner hotels comprise Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok, The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok, W Bangkok, The Okura Prestige Bangkok, Le Méridien Bangkok, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Sukhumvit Bangkok, Modena by Fraser Bangkok Hotel Residences and Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sathorn. The combined capacity of the partner hotels is over 3,500 rooms.
Eleven international conferences and exhibitions will be held at QSNCC from September to December, including the high-profile Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in November.
Closed for redevelopment since 2019, the new QSNCC will have 78,500m2, making it five times larger than the existing facility and 8,500m2 larger than Australia’s largest convention centre, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, which totals 70,000m2 after opening its 20,000m2 expansion in 2018.
