The inaugural Meet Darwin International event took place over four days this May, with a group of event planners from Singapore flying to the Top End to discover its culture, cuisine and business events possibilities.

The ease of access to what is Asia’s closest Australian destination was highlighted, with delegates flying only four hours from Singapore to Darwin. The group visited the Royal Flying Doctor Service, the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre and were hosted by the Darwin Convention Centre for a ‘Seven Seasons Dinner’.

Delegates were also lucky enough to fly to Katherine and visit the Katherine Outback Experience, which features horse-riding and cattle dog demonstrations, live music and bush tales.
