Recently opened beachfront property The Langham, Gold Coast has just added another tantalising option for business events groups to its offering with the debut of its 80-seat T’ang Court restaurant.

The new Cantonese restaurant for the five-star luxury hotel brings a concept which has been Michelin-starred in Asia to Australia for the first time.

“Our first Australian T’ang Court restaurant marks a significant leap forward for the local dining landscape. Authentic, traditional Cantonese fine dining is comparatively rare in Australia, so we’re thrilled to bring this unique experience to life for locals and travellers, from other states and even internationally,” said Langham Hospitality Group’s director of Chinese cuisine Howard Lam.

“Diners at T’ang Court on the Gold Coast will be able to indulge in the same golden age Cantonese flavours that have earned T’ang Court at The Langham, Hong Kong three Michelin stars and seen its many other award-winning sister restaurants across the world become highly sought-after dining destinations.

“T’ang Court diners can expect a true gastronomic affair with some of the best Cantonese flavours and an array of traditional masterpieces.”

The menu includes duck pancakes, caviar, sauteed pearl meat and spicey black tiger prawns.

The restaurant has a private dining room for up to 10 people – although eight diners is recommended – and the whole restaurant can be booked for business events groups, on a case by case basis in discussion with The Langham team.

“The Langham, Gold Coast is bringing The Langham’s legendary legacy of elegance and luxury to life in an equally iconic beachfront location, and such a renowned dining experience like T’ang Court is the perfect extension of this luxury,” said The Langham, Gold Coast’s GM John O’Shea

“We’re excited to see such a respected and sought-after dining experience breathe new life into true fine dining here on the Gold Coast and are looking forward to welcoming guests of The Langham, locals of Queensland and travellers into this one-of-a-kind culinary delight.”
