Australian Technology Park and Laissez-faire Catering pulled out all stops for the 2014 International Women’s Day Breakfast (March 7).
With the Australian PM in attendance, ATP and Laissez-faire worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the event, with 100 Laissez-faire staff on the floor by 6.30am with 500 litres of coffee piping hot and ready to be served.
International Women’s Day in 2014 had the theme of “inspiring change”, whether it be for equal recognition for women in the arts, growth of women-owned businesses or increased financial independence. The first IWD took place in 1911 and has since challenged the status quo of women’s equality and vigilance, inspiring positive change.
One comment following the event said: “Just wanted to say a huge thank you to both of you and your teams for a tremendous effort today… A special thanks to the staff on the ground and in the kitchen – they did a terrific job of keeping everyone well served.”
